The argument needs to be articulated so that it is transparent. Greater explanation is required as to the significance of some of the statements, referring back to the purpose of the paper. It reads as a personal viewpoint rather than an argument.

This is an interesting and insightful paper that is centred very much on the author?s own practice. However, there is limited engagement with the literature in the field, and the conclusions focus very much on the author?s own position. I therefore suggest that the paper should be revised to draw on other literature and cases that explore this issue. The conclusions sghould also be revised to draw out wider issues for craft practice generally.

Suggested Parallel Track: Critical Engagement
