A very interesting paper, easily read with a well articulated argument. The paper needs to be formatted in relation to the conference guidelines and further referencing in part part two would be helpful.

The original abstract clearly states the scope of research in relation to the role of imagination and creativity in vernacular craft and outlines three main findings. This presented a convincing case to call for a full paper. The submitted paper however only deals with the abstract regarding imagination and creativity and does not refer to the three main findings. This is unfortunate, requiring the abstract to be rewritten to summarize the submitted paper. In its present form I found it difficult to digest as it seemed disjointed unlike the original cohesive abstract. The original abstract outcomes also indicated closer investigation of and connections? being made with North East Scotland; this depth is missing in the full paper.
In part one the title ?Worldview? is too expansive and should be changed to Euro-American View; this would refer more closely to the contents of that section.
Overall however, I agree with the conclusion, that this is a very relevant area of Craft activity with a large audience. This anthropological research perspective has revealed insights and therefore should be supported and the paper accepted but with revisions.
