- This is potentially an interesting paper and one whose viewpoint would contribute to dynamic dicussion at the conference. However, I would suggest the author gives full consideration to the following major comments:
? there are a large number of ambiguous statements which require clarification ? a comment or viewpoint is presented in the paper but an explanation of its relevance in the context of the main argument is missing. This must be resolved.
? the style of writing and structure of the paper is ?loose? and would benefit greatly from adopting a ?tighter?, critical approach/structure so that the meaning/significance of the main issues and points made are not lost. There is a need for sub-headings as the paper reads as an essay written in a journalistic manner.
? further contextualisation through full referencing and citation is required throughout the paper.
? deeper analysis and evaluation of the main points presented in the paper are required in a conclusion

- There is an issue in that the views expressed and definitions given are based on the subjective views of the author, who pre-supposes without evidence, certain critical paths such as rural crafts it evolves from.
Change title to reflect content.
